Summer Greetings from ANMBF!
The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico has partnered with the Dallas Independent School District to present a completely FREE summer workshop. The Summer Workshop ends on JUNE 28 and its located at J. W. RAY on 2211 Caddo Street, Dallas TX 75204. If you reside in DISD and your child attends 1st through 5th grade you qualify to register your child to this great opportunity! Register on campus TODAY. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 8am to 1pm. Breakfast and Lunch are served FREE to students.

Thriving Minds is a citywide initiative that brings together organizations that believe in the power of imagination, creativity and innovation to change the way children learn. Through programs that promote creative thinking, project-based learning and experimentation, Thriving Minds is changing the way our city thinks about educating youth for the 21st century.

Thriving Minds is collaboration of various organizations, with fiscal accountability and oversight of programmatic outcomes of the initiative managed by Big Thought. The partnership includes the City of Dallas, Dallas Independent School District and more than 100 arts, cultural and community organizations that are committed to making creative learning a part of the education of every Dallas student—in and out of school.

The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico is one of those organizations where we emphasize the exhibition of great dance skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of Mexico’s folklore and heritage in the Thriving Minds Schools.
