In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join AARP Texas and ANMBF to a "Mondays of Discovery around Latin America"; series at noon CST, starting Sept.13 and continuing to Oct. 11. Learn about the history, culture and highlights from various parts of Latin America, including Mexico, Colombia, Guatelama, Chile, and Cuba. Registration is required.
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, AARP Texas and ANMBF will present a poetry writing workshop that takes inspiration from the works of Pablo Neruda, a Chilean poet known for his 100 Love Sonnets. The event, which is part of our “Crafty Thursdays Around Latin America” series, takes place at 5 p.m. (CST) Thursday, Oct. 7. Registration is required at:

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join AARP Texas and ANMBF for a Folktale Wednesdays series that will explore stories from Latin America at 8 p.m. CST, starting Sept. 16
and continuing to Oct. 13. This series will introduce folktales from Mexico, Colombia, Guatelama, Chile, and Cuba. Registration is required.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join AARP Texas and ANMBF to a "Dancing Saturdays around Latin America" series at 2 p.m. CST, starting Sept. 18 and continuing to Oct.
16. Learn the folklorico dance steps from various regions in Latin America. The series also will discuss the history and clothing surrounding the dance. Registration is required.
Join AARP Texas and ANMBF for a free-and-easy guided online Zumba Gold series. The wellness-focused dance presentations aim to improve participants’ mental outlook, reduce stress, enhance range of motion, and boost overall wellbeing. The events take place at 10 a.m. CST every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from August 23 through September 17. Registration is required.
